Henry Hudson Planetarium Henry Hudson Planetarium 1953-1990 In the 1950s there were plans to build a planetarium in Albany and fundraising was begun. However, the dream of the Henry Hudson Planetarium was never realized. In 1985 the funds were still being held by the Albany County Hudson-Champlain Celebration, Inc.
